Come join this team effort among the organizers, sponsors and friends: congregations of many faiths, interfaith peacemaking groups, secular peace organizations and humanitarian groups to advocate on behalf of people in need, especially the 14 million human beings who perish each year from poverty-related causes and pollution. Who We Are...
The Taskforce for Humanity Coalition is a community of progressive individuals and organizations united in vision and values whose goal is to cultivate a more enlightened, peaceful and compassionate world. Among our aims and activities are the following:
For the progressive community to express its common values as an increasingly recognized force for change.
To explore and develop effective ways to promote service to humanity and the planet as a way of life.
To encourage cooperation on projects that would otherwise be too large for a single organization or individual to undertake.
To share knowledge and best practices which will help us make a greaterimpact on public opinion and encourage widespread demand for change at the grass roots level.
To exchange ideas that increase the effectiveness of the progressive community as a whole.
To share experiences that inspire and motivate.
To promote collaboration among both individuals and organizations in the progressive community.
To begin to identify and explore issues critical to the progressive change community.
To begin to archive our work and accomplishments as a legacy to those who come after us as well as a means to influence the mainstream community
